Was taking sunrise pictures on a cold morning, with frost all around me and low mist over the lake. I was walking around the lake to find a better location to take pictures from, when a moose's head popped out of the bushes front of me and looked straight at me. I quickly started to back track and went to the other side of the small lake and sat down. Slowly the adult female came out in the open, ate and then sat down, soon joined by its calf, who came over and rubbed noses with its mom before sitting down.
