Just like us humans not all animals behave the same under similar situations. Whereas the sister of this female has no problem eating in the vicinity of humans, this grizzly leans toward the opposite. The first time I saw her this year was later part of day, away from the busy world. Her look and body indicated she did not want me to be there, I moved on. Few weeks later I was surprised to see her in a area that is considerably busy, but timing was on her side, it was too early for people to be around. She was startled by loud thunder caused by approaching storm, she snarled back and then quickly disappeared into the forest. As she grows older she will gain more confidence and become more comfortable with her surroundings, but still her and others should never be taken for granted.
