Each year is different then the last and all I can do is do my part by getting out and being ready for anything. Over a month a go I got to take pictures of a bird that I have not been able to get close to before, a Golden Eagle. I was doing what I like most, exploring the valley to see what I'll come across and if lucky something to take pictures of. To my amazement I came across two juvenile Golden Eagles, one was too far perched on a tree but this one was sitting on top of a dead tree close to the ground. From behind a tree I got to watch this beautiful bird and take all the pictures I could ask for that day. They are not often found near the bottom of the valley, but they were passing through and our paths intersected that day.
